If you are going to polish your nail, make sure you apply a clear base coat first. This will help to make the polish stick to your nail easily. A base coat also creates a barrier that helps protect your nails from the damaging effects of nail polish. It prevents staining and peeling, and it will give your polished nails a more even texture.

After applying a base coat, apply two coats of colored nail polish to give a richer look. To finish your manicure, apply a top coat to seal in your nail polish, make it looks shinier and prevent chipping.  This may take quite a lot of time, but it sure will extend the life of  your manicure and prevent yellow nails.
